Had Tracii Guns only have shut his mouth, we may have heard some more kick-ass music by this band, instead, Nikki Sixx decided to put Sixx A.M. together. The band consisted of both Nikki, Tracii, future Ace Frehley drummer Scott Coogan, and London LeGrand.

The band originally had John Corabi as well, but he decided to bail when he thought the material was just not what they should be doing. He mentioned in more than one interview how they were composing for kids when they should have been composing for themselves, and felt that the best track they recorded had Coogan on lead vocals.

The first album was essentially the demos the band shopped around, the second album does not contain Sixx, as Guns annoyed him with comments he made, and rumors that he spread about D.J. Ashba recording the track “If I Die Tomorrow” instead of Mick Mars.
