Born Again is an album that you either love or hate, I’ve never heard an mixed opinions on the album. Whether you like it or not, tracks like Trashed and Zero The Hero have influenced a ton of bands, regardless if Ian Gillan was singing instead of Ozzy Osbourne or Ronnie James Dio. People usually take issue with the album cover or the albums sound, a few years back when the album was reissued and remastered (for the second time) people were hoping to finally hear something that didn’t contain that muddy, murky production the album is know for. Unfortunately for them, the “classic” Born Again sound remained intact on that version of the album.
