JOHN CORABI AND HIS MC94

Here are some albums that are dropping today.

John Corabi – Live 94

The much-celebrated, or maligned self-titled album by Motley Crue is one that divides a lot of Crue fans. A lot of people think this album is brilliant, while others feel that had the band changed their name, they would have accepted the album with open arms. The lead singer on the album has never shied away from his love of the album, while other members of the band have done so, do more in part to court hearings pertaining to royalty payouts, than the actual music itself. In any event, Corabi, currently the lead singer in The Dead Daisies, has released a live version of the album, recorded a few years back, with his son on drums.

Angra – Omni

The Brazilian heavy metal band which has boasted having Megadeth’s Kiko Loureiro, and current W.A.S.P. drummer Aquiles Priester in their lineup, return with a concept album, whose title means everything. Kiko who has technically been on hiatus from the band since joining Megadeth, guests on the track “War Horns”.

Sainted Sinners – Back With A Vengeance

The band features former Accept, Generation Clash era lead singer Davide Reece. The album harkens back to 70s classic rock, sounding less like Reece’s past outings with Accept or Bangor Choir, and more like Whitesnake or U.F.O.

Other releases of note:

Eyes Set To Kill – Eyes Set To Kill

Neal Morse – Life & Times

Pop Evil – Pop Evil

Senses Fail – If There Is Light, It Will Find You

Visions Of Atlantis – The Deep & The Dark
