Nine Inch Nails, Marduk, Khemmis + More

Here are some of the albums that drop today.

Nine Inch Nails – Bad Witch

Is it an EP? Is it a full-length album? Technically it is being labeled as a full-length album due to main man Trent Reznor’s belief that Not The Actual Events and Add Violence were kind of lost in the shuffle on streaming services because an EP was pushed to the side, like how singles are usually handled on streaming services. Bad Witch is the third and final chapter of the EPs the band has released over the course of the last few years, starting with 2016’s Not The Actual Events.

Marduk – Viktoria

1990 saw the formation of Swedish black metal act Marduk, they now return with their 14th full-length album, Viktoria.  The album follows their last few releases stylistically, in that it is a hybrid between their first few albums and the more melodic turn they took after their fourth album.

Khemmis – Desolation

The acclaimed Doom Metal band from Colorado is back with their first album for Nuclear Blast, their third overall. The one knock from die-hard fans is that this album is more heavy metal, than the doom metal that got so many people involved in the band.
