The Night Flight Orchestra

Guns N’ Roses, Bruce Dickinson, Night Flight Orchestra, BFMV + More

Here are some of the new albums coming out today.

Guns N’ Roses – Appetite For Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded Edition

We’ve been hearing about this boxed set for a while, there have been videos on YouTube detailing the various versions that will be made available, including the one you can purchase for a cool $999. That said, you can now finance it if you can’t afford to pay in one lump sum! This reissue is full of unreleased tracks, alternate versions, live tracks, acoustic versions, covers, and the GNR Lies EP.

Bruce Dickinson – Scream For Me Sarajevo DVD and Soundtrack

The documentary and soundtrack revolve around the legendary performance Bruce Dickinson and his solo band put on in Sarajevo at the height of the Yugoslavian War. I remember reading about this years ago in an interview Bruce had done with a magazine.  Will be cool to put faces to the story per se.  The soundtrack itself plays out like a greatest hits of Bruce’s solo work.

Bullet For My Valentine – Gravity

The Welsh band is back with what they consider simpler songs, and by saying that, they don’t feel the need to show off their skills every second of the album, instead, they have preferred working on the full compositions themselves to make them their best outing possible, while coupling that with a bigger sound. This is the band’s sixth album, but it contains a few firsts, their first album with new drummer Jason Bowld, and their first on their new label Spinefarm.

The Night Flight Orchestra – Sometimes The World Ain’t Enough

The Swedish supergroup headlined by Björn “Speed” Strid of Soilwork, and Sharlee D’Angelo of Arch Enemy return with their fourth full-length album. All of the band’s releases have been full of 80s radio rock goodness and based on the songs released in advance, this album seems to be no different.  This is the first time the band has released albums in two consecutive years, as every release prior to this has had at least a two-year break between them.

Jaye Jayle – No Trail and Other Unholy Paths

Young Widows’ Evan Patterson launched his Americana-noir project Jaye Jayle in 2014 with a debut album, House Cricks And Other Excuses To Get Out, following two years later. Now he’s back with a second album for the alias, titled No Trail And Other Unholy Paths.
