This week offers us a limited amount of releases
DevilDriver – Outlaws ‘Til The End
The California band freaked a lot of people out by saying they would be releasing an Outlaw Country album, and well, it’s a DevilDriver album, with a plethora of guests covering some badass country tunes.
Kissin’ Dynamite – Ecstasy
The German band returns with their 6th album in ten years, they’re first on Metal Blade. The band is named after an AC/DC song, but are heavily influenced by 80s hard rock. Their album is full of modern hard rock mixed in with some of the elements that made you fall in love with the genre as a kid.
Lucifer – Lucifer II
The band was formed after The Oath split up, and vocalist Johanna Sadonis decided to continue down a path that was full of 70s hard rock and doom metal, in the flavors of Black Sabbath and Trouble. The album was recorded with Nicke Andersson of Entombed and Hellacopter fame handling the drums, bass, and some of the guitars on the album.
The East Side Gamblers – The Big Machine
Produced by Nick Raskulinecz, and features Tony Higbee, known for his work with Damon Johnson and Tom Keifer.
