THE SWORD COVERS THE KISS KLASSIC “SHE”

The Sword has released a cover of “She” a track by Kiss which first appeared on 1975’s Dressed To Kill. The cover will appear on the band’s simultaneously released compilations. Conquest Of Kingdoms and Chronology 2006 – 2018 will both be available on June 5th. We discussed the release of these two albums a few weeks back, you can read more about them here.
 
The compilations include a bunch of covers, never before released by the band. Covers of songs by Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and Pentagram among others. A bunch of unreleased live material will also form part of both sets.
 
The 26 track Conquest Of Kingdoms will come out on three vinyl albums, limited to 1000 copies worldwide. A truncated digital version will also be made available.
 
Chronology 2006 – 2018 is a 52 track compilation spread out over three CDs. It will contain everything Conquest Of Kingdoms plus all the band’s hits.

The Austin band gained notoriety with 2006’s debut album Age Of Winters. The track “Freya” was all over Headbangers Ball mach II. It also ended up in multiple versions of The Austin band gained notoriety with 2006’s debut album Age Of Winters. 2008’s God’s Of The Earth spawned another track “Maiden, Mother & Crone” which found its way onto Guitar Hero 5. While the track “The Black River” would be included in Guitar Hero: Metallica. The band has toured with Metallica, Lamb Of God, and Clutch. Coincidentally, members of all three bands add their comments to the liner notes of Conquest Of Kingdoms and Chronology 2006 – 2018.
