ANTHRAX RELEASES THE SECOND VIDEO OF THEIR PERSISTENCE OF TIME SERIES
Anthrax’s has just released the second video that commemorates the 30th anniversary of the release of Persistence Of Time. The video is entitled “Bring The Noise”, in it drummer Charlie Benante covers their collaboration with Public Enemy. Although it would later appear on Attack Of The Killer B’s it was recorded around the same time as Persistence Of Time. We previously covered the first video “Dali”, it discusses the band’s reworking of the original album cover for the reissue.
Their version of “Bring The Noise” is seen by many as start of Nu Metal, rap rock, or any other label you want to place on bands that mash both genres up. You can argue that the track has influencing bands like Limp Bizkit, Staind, Rage Against The Machine, Korn and many more.
