ALONG CAME A SPIDER “YOUR RECKONING” OUT NOW

Along Came A Spider is a band that falls under the new to me banner. They were brought to my attention by their PR. The track “Your Reckoning” reminds me of aspect of Korn, and Hybrid Theory Linkin Park. A mix that I personally like.

They’re based in Cleveland, Ohio, but their lead singer Jamie Miller is stranded in Canada due to the Covid-19 border closings. Given everything that’s going on with the pandemic, they have opted to work on new material. Instead of working on a full album worth of material, they’re releasing songs one at a time.

Keyboardist Joel Sedlak mentioned the following:

We have enough content to last another year if need be

This seems to be working for Along Came A Spider as they’ve been able to obtain half a million streams for all of the material they’ve been releasing these last few months. Drummer Tony Castillo had the following to say about the band garnering these amount this milestone:

A half-million plays a good consolation prize for not being able to hit the road

The band is rounded out by guitarist Luke Fockler and bassist John Calo.
