New Releases: November 26, 2021 – Black Label Society

Black Label Society Doom Crew Inc.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY ARE BACK WITH DOOM CREW INC.

One of my Patrons, Mike Jones said it best, B.L.S. if nothing else is consistent. Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society have always been good for at least releasing a few good songs per album. But I feel that around the time he got sober, right before Order Of The Black, Zakk really turned things up a notch.

He’s done this twice in my opinion, 1919 Eternal, and The Order Of The Black. While every album after 1919 Eternal had good material on it, after The Order Of The Black, every album has been just downright killer.

Doom Crew Inc. follows this trajectory. The album is solid to top to bottom, and will more than likely please any die-hard Black Label Society fan. Or any Ozzy fan that missed Zakk’s playing on Ordinary Man. It has your share of bone-shaking riffs, and cantilevering mellow moments. Essentially what you have come to expect from B.L.S.

Here is Black Label Society with "Gather All My Sins" off of their latest album Doom Crew Inc..

TUESDAYS ON SIGNALS FROM MARS

Signals From Mars Trivia Tuesday on Twitch is a new show where, as you might suspect, I throw out a bunch of hard rock and metal trivia questions to the audience.

Last week’s game came down to the very last question, with the winner taking away a $5 discount from the Mars Attacks Podcast Merch store. Will tonight bring a new champ?

Not only do you need to know the correct answer, but you also need to be the quickest to answer correctly. The faster you answer, the more points you obtain. But answer wrong, and you’ll lose points.
