New Releases: July 1, 2022 – Haunt

Haunt - Windows Of Your Heart

In the event that you’ve never heard of Haunt before, the project was put together in 2017. Beastmaker‘s Trevor William Church had written a series of hard rock and metal songs that didn’t quite fit Beastmaker. So he created a one-man band called Haunt.

The band’s first release was an EP called Luminous Eyes. Since then he’s released at least one EP or full length a year. Initially on Shadow Kingdom Records, before creating his own label Chruch Recordings.

This is their sixth album, the first full-length since 2021’s Beautiful Distraction.

As with most Haunt albums, Trevor William Church is the mastermind behind everything, including the production.

It can’t get any more DIY, it’s on Trevor William Chruch’s Church Recordings.

Trevor William Church first put the project together in 2017.

For all of the lazy listeners that abandoned ship back in 89, and continue to say there is no good new music, Windows Of Your Heart is a middle finger in your direction. The good thing about Haunt is every single release has something good on it.

If you’re not sure what the band is about, they’re a mix of 80s hard rock and straight-up heavy metal. Anything that’s released under the Haunt name could have easily been released forty years ago. Now if you’re looking for this album to replace some of your favorite songs of all time, then keep moving along, nothing to see here. But if you’re open-minded and looking for something new to play along with some of those classics, then I recommend you check the album out.

Here is Haunt with the title track off of their latest album Windows Of Your Heart.
